Romans Chapter 10

Romans chapter 10 emphasizes mans responsibility: It is man who must pray (10:1); it is man who must submit (10:3); it is man who must believe (10:4); it is man who must believe in his heart and confess with his mouth (10:9-10); it is man who must call upon the name of the Lord (10:12-13); it is man who must hear and believe the gospel (10:14-17). God does the saving but man must do the believing.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

It is truly very simple. You have to trust in the Lord with all of your heart and confess this to him. notice it says with the heart and not your head. If you confess this to him you should confess to him with meaning. Truly believe Jesus died for your sin and that God being as merciful as he is raised him up again. Call on the name of the Lord and confess your sins that Jesus had to pay for with his precious blood. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13. There are a lot of unsaved people out there that I feel want to believe in the Lord and want to be saved but are scared. They are scared of the life style they may have to give up and they are scared of what people will thank about them. The funny thing is you can may here them say they are blessed or pray when they want something or you can even her an occasional thank you lord but they will not submit themselves to God. There are a lot of souls out there that may want to be saved but do not know how and many souls that have never even heard the Gospel preached or even read the word of God.

Romans 10:17 "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. My wife (Theresa) and I read Chapter 10 together and this is one of the verses that stuck out most to her and she was very passionate about it. All bible believing Christians should be just as passionate about it as she is and it should cut deep to your heart as it did to mine. As Christians we are suppose to take what we know and fulfill the great commission by going out and seeing souls saved. This is done by going out and soul winning. Spreading the gospel at every moment and every chance we have possible. Planting the seed and watering it so Jesus can make it grow only as he can. Like I said previously in this blog there are many people out in this world that have never been presented the gospel or never even picked up a bible. My wife hit on a good note and said, "Think about all the parents out there that have never been presented the gospel therefore there children were not and this has passed on and will only keep passing on." If parents are not saved how do we expect their parents to be saved. It is our duty as Christians and believers to go out and spread the word. We may be the only hope for people walking around that are not saved to be saved. God puts people in front of us every day that do not know the Lord as there saviour. It is on us to spread the word and share the Gospel with that person, or share our testimony. It is not an easy task and you may be nervous to do it but trust me God will give you the strength. It is not easy to go out and put yourself out there when you know a lot of people don’t understand your faith and you are nervous , but for every 20 people who may laugh in your face, won't it be worth it to see at least one soul saved.~(Theresa Stinson) Nothing is impossible with God and trust me he will give you the strength. Are you doing all you can as a Christian to see souls saved and Lead to the Lord? Is there more you can do? I know there is more that I can do and I look forward to growing and spreading the Gospel.

Heavenly Father, Thank you for opening my eyes in this passage and making me realize there is so much for me to do in my walk with you. Father, we get comfortable and we shouldn't, and we often read your word but do not share it with others. I pray that if there any others that are out there in the same shoes I am in myself that your hand would be upon us and leading us in the right direction to see other's being lead to you. Father I know we are often weak at times but you are almighty and I pray that you would give us the strength, will and determination to do those things that bring praise to your name. We often take things for granted father and are to prideful, but i want you to know lord I can never think you enough for all that you have blessed me with. Father I pray that even today some hearts would be led to you and would come to know you. I pray a special blessing upon this weekend as we have our Mega Future Soldier Function and our Church Musical on Sunday, please allow everyone to travel safe and bless the fellowship and by your power may some folks there be led to you. I love you lord and look forward to my walk with you today. All praises to you. In Jesus name, Amen

Romans 10:13 For Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans Chapter 5

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

All though we do not deserve love from God, He loves us all because he is merciful and we are all his children. No matter what we think we need to realize that we are all dirty, filthy , rotten sinners and are not deserving of his love. You may not think you are a sinner but let me tell you that you are. Even if you have ever only told one lie , you are a sinner and the price to pay for that sin is death. I use to think I was a good person and I could go to heaven merely by my good works or deeds. I did not think I was that bad and I considered myself to be a good person. I have always said I will go to heaven. It was not until I started reading the KJV Bible that I found out I was wrong and needed to be saved. I needed to put my trust and faith in Jesus Christ and admit to him that I was a sinner and ask for forgiveness. God loves us so much he sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross and bare all the sins of the world. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Therefore Romans 5 starts of basically with the believer understanding the blessing that has been received and having joy and faith with God through Jesus Christ. We learn and rejoice in Glory in tribulations and tribulations bring patience and that patience brings experience and that experience brings hope. Before we had faith tribulations would arise and we would not handle them in a Godly manner. We would not pray, and we certainly would not have patience. The stronger you grow in faith the easier it will be to overcome tribulations, with patience and through experience. Tribulations are troubles and distresses that come after persecution. It is hard to believe that sin entered the world with one man (Adam) and the sin of the world was taken away by one man as well (Jesus Christ). Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience one were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made. righteous. In reference to this I want to take a great quote from ,John Gill, in the Sword Searcher " for the sin of the first man", all that are born of him, "become wicked." that as by Adam's sin all his posterity are made sinners, and so are brought under a sentence of condemnation; in like manner by the obedience of Christ, all his seed are made righteous, and come under a sentence of justification of life: Man were made sinners by "the disobedience of one man, Adam"; and by the first and single disobedience of his, in eating the fruit of the forbidden tree, by which they "were made sinners": so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous; not by their own obedience; nor by their own obedience and Christ's together; but by his sole and single obedience to the law of God: and the persons made righteous by it are not all the posterity of Adam, and yet not a few of them; but "many", even all the elect of God, and seed of Christ; these are all made righteous in the sight of God, are justified from all their sins, and entitled to eternal life and happiness. This is all possible by beliefing in Jesus Christ who was sent to Bare all the sins of the world because of what Adam had done in the garden. Sin breeds sin. Jesus is the only man to ever walk the other that was with out sin, obedient and righteous. He was crucified on a cross for us because God loves us all and does not want us to be separated from him. God wants us to live righteously. He wants us to walk and talk with him daily. He wants us to spend eternity with him, and not in the Lake of Fire, burning in torments. That is why he sent his only begotten son to bare all of our sins. I am gracious and over joyed with the fact that i know I will be spending eternity in heaven. The question is will you? Are you living for God. Is he involved in every aspect of your life? If not I will be praying for you to get right with him, have faith in him and belief in him. When you are alone, who do you have to talk to, who will listen? I know who I have and he is always listening.

Heavenly father, it has been a great morning getting to know you and grow closer to you. I pray that if there is anyone that would read this blog that does not know you that they may call out your most highly name and ask you into their life. I love you father and I don't know how I ever went on with out you. Lord I pray that your will would be upon me this day and all days forward. I pray that not only myself but others can start off every day just like this one. I love you Lord and I praise you. In Jesus name, Amen.

Romans Chapter 6

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Chapter 6 is truly one of the most powerful Chapters I have read in my nearly two years as a Christian. I am picking up where I left off with the (Romans Road to Salvation). I want to go out and witness Life's being changed forever. Romans road is going to help me do that. How can I go out and witness if I can not reference and do not know what I am talking about. For the wages of sin is death! To better describe this I am going to take a quote out of the King James Version (KJV) Soul Winners New Testament. Wages are the pay you get for work, they are your earnings and what most people work very hard for. Death is the pay you get for sin. No one has to work very hard for death because we all sin and death is the wage of sin. Death is inevitable. The only guarantee in life is that we are all going to die one day and we are either going to spend eternity in heaven or we will be cast into the lake of fire (HELL). The ones that are cast into the lake of fire are those sinners like us all, but they are unsaved that is separated from God and righteousness. They are not filled with the Holy Spirit. They have not been born again. They have not received the free gift that God has offered them, that gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. It is a free gift, so why not accept it? All you have to do to accept this free gift is believeth on him and you shall have everlasting life and not be condemned to the lake of fire. In this Chapter we see so many great verses, bottom line is we need to realize that we are all sinners and the penalty for our sin is death. If we decide to accept the free gift from God that is salvation from eternal damnation we need to live righteously and Holy and acceptable to God. We need to repent from our sins and have faith in the Lord. I highly suggest that anyone reading this blog would read this Chapter. It is only 23 verses. As a matter of fact I challenge you to read this chapter. I am suppose to pick out some verses that stand out in the Chapter but for this one that is hard to do. If I did so I would be posting the entire Chapter to this blog.

Father, I can never begin to praise you enough. Lord I am a sinner and I am ashamed. I want to make things right before you lord and I have faith that you will lead me to others that want to do the same. I know I have only began to scratch the service lord but I am truly amazed and look forward to spending more time with you. Lord I can not think you enough for everything, from the bottom of my heart. Honestly I would not no where to begin Lord. I pray that through this Bible College, Theresa and I will become closer, grow more in our faith and be closer to you. I pray that you would make our house with joy, warmth and a house for the lord, filled with the Holy spirit and allow are family to grow. Thank you so much father for giving me the opportunity to have a great job and to be a provider for my family. I pray that a special blessing would be upon the Zanesville Recruiting Station and our mission as we are heading into our last week of the quarter. No matter if we make it are not we will praise you Lord. I know that all things are possible through faith in you father. I love you Lord and I look forward to spending tomorrow with you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

Bible College Testimony

I was going to jump right in with the Chapter for today but I just want to say what an amazing and most high God I serve. It has been a wonderful Lords day and I was glad to share it with all my brothers and sisters in Christ. I have just started on this journey, as it is only day three, but I am overcome with joy that I feel must be shared. I can not begin to tell you how refreshed my mind, body and soul are now that I am truly in the bible like I should be. We all struggle sometimes in are spiritual walk. Pastor Andy said it best today "When we are overcome with joy and really wanting to get right with God and overcome with excitement that is when the devil is working most in our lives." That could not be more true and all of us as Christians know that. However with that being said we allow it to happen over and over again and let the Satan get the best of us. We let him break our spirit. I know this because it has happened to me on many occasions. I am here to tell you no more. My good friend Andy hit the nail on the head today and really struck a cord with me. He said "He is tired of Christians coming to church on Sunday's being all Holy and putting up this front when really they are going home for the week not being in the bible, not spending time with God, not witnessing and not even praying like they should be." He can not be more right. I made a decision to say NO MORE!!

I am here to tell you I will not let the Devil get the best of me anymore. I truly felt God calling me and telling me what I needed to do. I was working and not incorporating God into my life as much as I should have and could have been. I was not spending time with him like I should, I was not doing my bible reading like I should everyday, not praying like I should and not out witnessing and fulfilling his great commission. God got a hold of my heart once again as he always does and I decided to get things right. I knew from the minute I got saved that God had big plans for me and I have been scared to take the leap. God has taken me by the hand and with help from some great brothers in Christ has led me on this journey that is just beginning. With the will of God laid upon my heart I decided that I should start Bible college. Praise the Lord because the doors burst open and there was Andy, my brother, backing me all the way and preparing this Bible College that God had laid upon his heart. I am growing every day in my faith and the Lord is there for me every step of the way. Look at this awesome blessing he is working in my life. I am truly blessed. I don't know what Gods plan is for my life but I feel that I have not yet fulfilled what I was put on this earth to do and he is not done using me yet. Our Most highly truly works in our life everyday to shape and mold us into the Christian he wants us to be and trust me we do not get there overnight. I know that I am heading down the right path, that is the path of righteousness, and Satan will not stand in my way. I am in my Bible, daily, digging deep and soul searching; asking God to take my hand and lead me. I am praying like I should be, I am spending time with Lord and I will be witnessing on a daily basis try to see souls saved. I will be planting the seed. I am fired up about this journey I am on and no one can change that. The devil will try but he will fail miserably. I will let nothing pop my Balloon of joy, Andy. The Lord is with me always and nothing is impossible when he is on your side. Repent from your selfish, fleshly ways and always keep your eyes on Christ.

Heavenly Father, tonight i come before your throne, humbled, for the miracles that you are working in my life. Father I know that there is a long road ahead and that road is very narrow. I look forward to every moment I spend on this road with you Lord and my brothers in sisters in Christ. I just ask that your will would be upon me Lord for all of my days on this earth bringing glory to your name. Father you deserve all the glory. I will always praise you Lord and I know you can use me to be a strong testament to others. I could never thank you enough for your Mercy and Grace. We love and Praise you lord, in Jesus name, Amen

Romans Chapter 3

I am not a writer of any sorts so I am definitely not in my comfort zone. This is actually very different for me and something I never pictured myself doing. It is funny because God has a way of getting in our hearts and pulling us out of our comfort zone. Doing this so we can fulfill the great commission and lead others to Christ. I know that with the more knowledge you have of the bible comes more responsibility. I am ready to take on that responsibility and see souls saved. I am ready to bring glory to your name father. This is going to be a truly amazing journey and it begins now with Romans Chapter 3.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

God layed it upon my heart to begin my Bible college with my first chapter being Romans 3. I believe the biggest reason is the verse you see written above Romans 3:23. It is the first verse in what we like to call "Romans Road to Salvation". It is a group of bible verses from the book of Romans in the New Testament that lead you down a road to be saved/salvation. Salvation is a free gift from God to you and is eternal. I will discuss salvation further in the days and weeks ahead. For someone to allow God to come into their heart they must first realize that they are a sinner. We are all sinners and unrighteuos in the eyes of the lord, both Jews and Gentiles, me, you and everyone. Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: To say that you have no sin you are only decieving yourself. If you can not admit that you are a sinner you will never put your faith in Jesus Christ who was sent by God to bare all the sins of the world. Therefore you will never be forgiven of your sins and saved. Romans 3:24-25 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God. Without the precious blood of Jesus Christ being shed there would be no remission of sins and there we be no eternal life because after all we truly don't deserve it because Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Heavenly father, thank you so much for opening my eyes in this Chapter. I just want to praise you lord for all that you are doing in my heart and all the doors you are opening for me. Father i know it will not always be easy but I know you will guide me in the right path. Thank you for all the great friends and other bible beliefers you have surronded me with. I am truly blessed and you never cease to amaze me. I can never thank you enough for my wife lord as she even dug down tonight and we tryed to understand your word together. Lord I just want to grow and spend all of my days in your word, praising you, talking with you and walking with you. I know this is all possible father because with you nothing is impossible. Thank you father for your mercy and grace and I look forward to spending this Lord's day with you to worship you. I pray a special blessing upon the SBC, the service, pastor and all the familys and guest. We love you lord, in Jesus name, Amen.

Soldier's Baptist Church Family Night

Game night was another great and truly amazing night of fellowship. SBC is definently moving in the right direction with Gods hand upon us. I am truly blessed to have such amazing friends and brothers in sisters in christ. Looking forward to the Lords day on Sunday and the next family night.

I am also very excited as this is my first day starting this blog, well actually as of one minute ago it is day two. I feel the Lord has truly been working in my heart and I am ready to start digging deeper into the word and starting Bible College. This Blog will be used to track my progress, as I read through all 1189 chapters of the KJV Bible. I will be reading one chapter a day for the next three years and four months at least and blogging every day on that specific chapter as well as sharing my prayers everyday. I look forward to this spiritual growth as well as the learning and understaning of Gods word. I also look forward to fulfilling the Great Commission and spreading the gospel as I will be out in the community atleast one hour out of the week talking in nursing homes, jails, hospitals, helping with big brother big sister, etc. I will also be blogging about this atleast once a week and sharing what occured. I look forward to the long road ahead and my walk with the Lord. Words can not express how I feel. I hope this blog can motivate other beliefers, touch those souls that are unsaved and lead many to Christ. I look forward and welcome all comments as well as constructive criticism because I am only an infant in my walk with the Lord and want to grow more every day. Not only do I want to grow but I want to plant seeds, water them, and watch them grow and see souls being saved.

Heavenly Father, we can never thank you enough for all that you do and have done for us. Lord I look forward to digging into your word, growning closer to you and fufilling the great commision. I pray that you would pour out a special blessing upon this blog and all that subscribe and read it. Thank you for your patience, mercy, power and truth Lord. Father we can never thank you enough for the free gift that you have given us all with the ultimate sacrifice of your only begotten son and for that we are forever indebted. I pray that your will would be upon me as I move forward on this path of righteousness as I want to be a reflection of you. I love you lord and I as this in Jesus name, I pray AMEN.

Today I Started my Blog
